Aim-2B: A Singular Purpose – Outside, In, and Back Again

Our Singular Purpose

Our Singular Purpose, which formed in Thessaloniki Greece, is to help those who follow Christ find The Way, The Word, The Teaching. We take you Outside to enable you to travel Inside, and therefore come back again to a life strengthened for the experience.

Outside:

Out to the places of The Word, The Son of Man - "The Nazarene" - in Palestine;
Out to the places where The Holy Spirit took Paul in Greece
Out to the places where The Holy Spirit took Peter in Italy
Out to the places where The Holy Spirit took  Thomas in India
(Also see our own outward journey - Our Beginnings: Inspired to Create)

In:

In Your Inner Journey by going out "To Be" in the places of early Christianity and The Holy Spirit.
In through discovery, experience, knowledge, and awareness, of the places and history (see Beginnings: Come, and See ).
In the deeper significance and magnitude of what took place there (see our own inner journey, Inspired To Trust ).
In by joining a Fellowship of like minded people seeking Christ and The Holy Spirit (see: Fellowship means this ).
"For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.” (Mt 18:20)
In His name for us means ALL Christ followers: so, all denominations, old and new. Progressives and established, church-going and church-avoiding. Believers and doubting believers. Also those just starting to explore Christ. Or re-explore Him after loss, hurt, or  let-downs from life or religion.

Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem, Israel

A wise, graceful, spiritual Christian, Mandela said of himself:
"no saint, but a sinner who keeps trying"
(With purpose, and to offend no side in the Freedom-Struggle, Mandela kept his Faith secret until he and South Africa gained their freedom)

We exist to bring Christians like us, sinners not saints, or even those saint-like amongst you, to the places where the Spirit was at work.

And back again

Back to everyday life. But it certainly need not be ordinary life. Because now you have the opportunity to start that journey from a new trajectory and momentum that you've picked up from your slingshot around the world of Christ.

Consequently, a momentum that is better for your loved ones.
An "Awareness momentum" gained from having been in the world of Christ and The Spirit.  A momentum to give you a better start on your return.
And finally, an awareness that the essence of Their entire Mission was unfailingly put to us by Christ in His final most profound, most repeated teaching: "Love one another" (see Gospel of John)

"Now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
(Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:12-13)
